An intermittent may be caused by poor connections, rubbed through wire insulation or broken wires inside their insulation. A hard start and possible poor performance may exist. Actual injection time will freeze at point of fault. DTC could set if injection timing is not correctly set. See appropriate ON-VEHICLE ADJUSTMENTS article.
