2000 Chevrolet Cavalier Base, 2D Coupe, Automatic, 4T40E/MN4SECTION Circuit Description

Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controls the fuel injectors by using a ground circuit driver within the PCM. If an electrical malfunction occurs in the fuel injector circuit, DTC will set. DTC will set when injector current is less than one amp or is continuously high for about 7 seconds.

For duplication of DTC, ensure engine is running and battery voltage is greater than 9 volts.
