2000 Chevrolet Cab & Chassis K2500, 7.4 J, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. From the back of the IP extension remove the 2 retaining bolts from the bracket.
  2. Remove the console assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Console Replacement (Luxury Console)Β , Console Replacement (Base Console)Β  or Console Replacement (Pro)Β  .
  3. Place the console assembly on a work bench.
  4. Disconnect the wire connectors.
  5. Remove the 12V power supply. Refer to 12-Volt Power Supply ReplacementΒ .
  6. Remove the screws attaching the console to the front extension.
  7. Remove the IP extension from the console.
