2000 Chevrolet Cab & Chassis K2500, 7.4 J, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the IP center trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - IP CenterΒ  .
  2. Remove the console trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - ConsoleΒ  .
  3. Remove the fasteners from the compartment assembly to the IP.
  4. Remove the compartment assembly by pulling rearward.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cigar lighter.
