- Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect generator connector. Turn ignition on. If charge indicator light is off, go to next step. If charge indicator light is on, go to step Β 3.
- Disconnect connector C100 located at left front of instrument panel. See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ . Turn ignition on. If charge indicator light is on, go to step Β 4. If charge indicator light is off, go to step Β 5.
- Replace generator. See GENERATORΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system.
- Repair short in Brown wire between instrument panel connector B16 and connector C100. See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ . Recheck system.
- Repair short in Brown wire between generator terminal "L" and connector C100 located at left front of instrument panel. See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ . Recheck system.
