1999 Chevrolet Pickup K1500, 5.7 RSECTION Installation Procedure

- Position the IP storage compartment to the IP storage compartment door.CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Install the fasteners in order to secure the IP storage compartment to the door.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 1.4 N.m (12 in lbs).
- Position the IP storage compartment and door assembly to the IP retainer.
- Install the fasteners (1) in order to secure the IP storage compartment door to the IP retainer.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 in lbs).
- Install the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right .
