Fuel Pump Balance Module: Installation
1999 Chevrolet Cutaway 7.4 JSECTION Installation
- Remove caps from the fuel pipes.
- Install new pipe O-rings.
- Position the new pump in the pump bracket.
- Connect fuel feed pipe and suction pipe to the fuel pump. Use a backup wrench to prevent the pump from turning. Tighten the fittings to 22 ft. lbs. (30 N.m).
- Connect electrical connector.
- Lower vehicle.
- Tighten fuel filler cap.
- Connect negative battery cable.
- Turn ON ignition for 2 seconds. Turn OFF ignition for 10 seconds. Turn ON ignition. Inspect for fuel leaks.
