Both Power Mirrors Inoperative
1999 Chevrolet Cutaway 7.4 JSECTION Both Power Mirrors Inoperative
- Check PWR MIRROR fuse (10-amp) located in fuse block right-side of instrument panel, in door opening. If fuse is open, repair short to ground in Orange wire between PWR MIRROR fuse terminal in fuse block and power mirror switch connector terminal "E". See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ . If fuse is okay, go to next step.
- Using test light, backprobe between power mirror switch harness connector terminal "E" (Orange wire) and ground. See Figure . If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Orange wire between PWR MIRROR fuse terminal in fuse block and power mirror switch connector terminal "E". See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ .
- Backprobe between power mirror switch harness connector terminals "E" (Orange wire) and "D" (Black wire). See Figure . If test light illuminates, replace power mirror switch. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
- Repair open in Black wire between power mirror switch connector terminal "D" and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ .
