NOTE:
When programming procedure is performed, DTC P1631 will set (this is normal). When DTC P1631 sets, turn ignition off for 30 seconds, then turn ignition on. DTC P1631 should clear. If DTC P1631 does not clear, go to POWERTRAIN ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS (OBD) SYSTEM CHECK under SELF-DIAGNOSTICS SYSTEM in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - GASOLINE - EXCEPT METRO, PRIZM & TRACKER article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
