Left-Side Power Mirror Inoperative In Left/Right Positions

1999 Chevrolet Chevy Express G1500, Van Cargo, 5.7 RSECTION Left-Side Power Mirror Inoperative In Left/Right Positions
  1. Disconnect left-side power mirror harness connector. Connect test light between left-side power mirror harness connector terminal "E" (Light Blue wire) and ground. See Figure . Move power mirror switch to left mirror, LEFT position. If test light illuminates, replace left-side power mirror. See POWER MIRROR ASSEMBLYΒ  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
  2. Using a test light connected to ground, backprobe power mirror switch harness connector terminal "B" (Light Blue wire). See Figure . Move power mirror switch to LEFT position. If test light does not illuminate, replace power mirror switch. If test light illuminates, repair open in Light Blue wire between left-side power mirror connector terminal "E" and power mirror switch connector terminal "B". See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ  .
