Left-Side Power Mirror Inoperative In Up/Down Positions
1999 Chevrolet Chevy Express G1500, Van Cargo, 5.7 RSECTION Left-Side Power Mirror Inoperative In Up/Down Positions
- Disconnect left-side power mirror harness connector. Connect test light between left-side power mirror harness connector terminal "D" (Light Green wire) and ground. See Figure . Move power mirror switch to left mirror, DOWN position. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, replace left-side power mirror. See POWER MIRROR ASSEMBLY under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Using a test light connected to ground, backprobe left-side power mirror switch harness connector terminal "D" (Light Green wire). See Figure . Move power mirror switch to DOWN position. If test light does not illuminate, replace power mirror switch. If test light illuminates, repair open in Light Green wire between left-side power mirror connector terminal "D" and power mirror switch connector terminal "E". See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
