- Perform diagnostic system check. See DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECKΒ under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. After performing diagnostic system check, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Install scan tool. Turn ignition on, with engine off. Using scan tool, select SPECIAL FUNCTIONS and then LAMP TEST. Using scan tool, command amber ETS (TRAC OFF) warning indicator on. If indicator illuminates, go to step Β 4. If indicator does not illuminate, go to next step.
- Repair instrument panel cluster as necessary. See appropriate ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
- Malfunction is not currently present.
