- Reprogram a known-good transmitter and attempt to operate system. If keyless entry system does not operate, go to next step. If keyless entry system operates normally, replace defective transmitter.
- Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) Black, 6-pin connector C2. Connect test light between connector C2 terminals "B" (Orange wire) and "A" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, check for good connections at BCM. If connections are okay, replace BCM. If test light does not illuminate, repair open circuit or bad connection in Orange wire to fuse No. 8, or open circuit in Black wire at BCM connector C2, terminal "A".
