- Remove the instrument panel (IP) compartment. Refer to COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT -- IP .
- Reach behind the IP compartment support panel and depress the retaining tabs on the IP compartment lamp switch to release.
- Press the lamp switch through the switch opening toward the rear of the vehicle.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the IP compartment lamp switch.
