1998 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 7.4 J, Part TimeSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Lower the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT .
  2. Remove the right I/P insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT -- RIGHT .
  3. Remove the right front carpet retainer. Refer to CARPET RETAINER REPLACEMENT - FRONT .
  4. Pull back the carpet for access.
  5. Disconnect the I/P antenna extension cable from the antenna cable.

  6. Disconnect the antenna cable from the rear window.
  7. Remove the screw from the antenna extension cable bracket.

    Important:Β  Take note of the antenna cable routing before removal from the vehicle.

  8. Remove the tape from the antenna cable.
  9. Remove the antenna cable.
