1998 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 7.4 J, Part TimeSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Align the marks on the radiator hose. Install the outlet hose to the radiator.
  2. Use J 38185Β  in order to reposition and install the hose clamp to the radiator.
  3. Install the lower air deflector. Refer to RADIATOR AIR BAFFLE AND DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - LOWERΒ  .

  4. Align the marks on the radiator hose. Install the radiator outlet hose (3) to the water pump housing (1).
  5. Use J 38185Β  in order to reposition the hose clamp to the water pump housing.
  6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEMΒ  .
