Installation Procedure

1998 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 7.4 J, Part TimeSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Align the marks on the hose and install the radiator inlet hose into position.
  2. Install the radiator inlet hose to the water outlet housing.
  3. Use the J 38185Β  in order to reposition and install the hose clamp to the water outlet housing.

  4. Install the radiator inlet hose to the radiator.
  5. Use the J 38185Β  in order to reposition and install the hose clamp to the radiator.
  6. Install the left diagonal brace. Refer to BRACE REPLACEMENT -- SHEET METAL DIAGONAL .
  7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling SystemΒ .
