IMPORTANT:
The hood latch release cable must be connected to the hood latch support bracket.
- Install the hood latch release cable to the hood latch.
- Align the hood latch to the marks on the hood latch support bracket.NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the nuts to the hood latch.
Tighten:Β Tighten the hood latch nuts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
- Adjust the hood, if required. Refer to Hood AdjustmentΒ .
- Close the hood.
