Installation Procedure

- Install the EGR valve with a new gasket to the intake manifold.
- Install the bolts through the EGR valve.
Tighten:Β Tighten the bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
- Connect the pipe assembly to the EGR valve.
- Install the bolt.
Tighten:Β Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the transaxle fluid filler tube. Refer to Fluid Filler Tube Replacement (LA1)Fluid Filler Tube Replacement (LY7) in Automatic Transaxle - 4T65-E
- Connect the EGR valve electrical connector.
