1998 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 7.4 J, Part TimeSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the stop lamp switch (1) into the slotted grooves until switch is fully depressed against the brake pedal (2), then turn the switch clockwise approximately 1/4 turn, the switch should now be installed and adjusted.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Install the left side instrument panel insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT -- LEFT .
  4. If necessary, adjust the stop lamp switch. Refer to STOP LAMP SWITCH ADJUSTMENTΒ  .
