1998 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 7.4 J, Part TimeSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ambient air temperature sensor.

  3. Use J 38778Β  to disconnect the wiring harness retainer which secures the ambient air temperature sensor to the hood latch support.
  4. Remove the ambient air temperature sensor from the wiring harness retainer.
  5. Remove the ambient air temperature sensor from the vehicle.
