1998 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 7.4 J, Part TimeSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Open the door.
  2. Remove the power window switch assembly. Refer to POWER WINDOW SWITCH REPLACEMENT - LEFT FRONT (AZTEK)Β  or POWER WINDOW SWITCH REPLACEMENT - LEFT FRONT (RENDEZVOUS)Β  or POWER WINDOW SWITCH REPLACEMENT - RIGHT FRONT (AZTEK)Β  or POWER WINDOW SWITCH REPLACEMENT - RIGHT FRONT (RENDEZVOUS)Β  .
  3. Remove the screws from the front door trim panel

  4. Remove the front door trim panel using the J 38778.Β 
  5. Remove the power mirror switch. Refer to POWER MIRROR SWITCH REPLACEMENT (AZTEK)Β  or POWER MIRROR SWITCH REPLACEMENT (RENDEZVOUS)Β  if equipped.
  6. Reposition the electrical harness connectors.
  7. Remove the front door trim panel from the vehicle.
