  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Check temperature gauge. If temperature gauge indicates HOT, go to TEMPERATURE GAUGE ALWAYS INDICATES HOTΒ  under SYSTEM TESTING. If temperature gauge does not indicate HOT, go to next step
  2. Start engine. Check oil pressure gauge. If oil pressure gauge indicates 5 psi or less, go to OIL PRESSURE ALWAYS INDICATES LOWΒ  under SYSTEM TESTS. If oil pressure gauge does not indicate low oil pressure and CHECK GAUGES indicator is on, replace instrument cluster.
