1998 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 7.4 J, Part TimeSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fixed antenna mast. Refer to Fixed Antenna Mast ReplacementΒ .
  2. Fig 1: Identifying Antenna Mast

  3. Open the rear compartment.
  4. Reposition the right side rear compartment trim. Refer to COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR .
  5. Remove the fixed antenna bezel retaining nut using J 38536-A.Β

  6. Remove the fixed antenna bezel.
  7. Remove the fixed antenna from the quarter panel.

  9. Disconnect the fixed antenna extension cable from the fixed antenna.
