Installation Procedure

1998 Chevrolet Suburban K2500, 7.4 J, Part TimeSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the fixed antenna to the quarter panel.

  3. Install the antenna bezel to the fixed antenna.
  4. Loosely install the antenna bezel retaining nut.
  5. Connect the antenna extension cable to the fixed antenna.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

  7. Install the fixed antenna bezel retaining nut using J 38536-A.Β  . Tighten the antenna bezel retaining nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  8. Reposition the right side rear compartment trim. Refer to COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR .
  9. Close the rear compartment.
  10. Install the fixed antenna mast. Refer to Fixed Antenna Mast ReplacementΒ .
