- Perform system check. See SYSTEM CHECKΒ under SYSTEM TESTS. Go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect PASSLOCK(R) 3-pin sensor connector C266. Check voltage between PASSLOCK(R) 3-pin sensor harness connector C266 terminal B1 (Red/White wire) and ground. If voltage is less than .5 volt, replace PASSLOCK(R) module. See PASSLOCK(R) MODULEΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Go to next step. If voltage is .5 volt or more, check for short to voltage in Red/White wire. Repair as necessary. If repair was made, go to next step. If no problem was found, replace PASSLOCK(R) module. See PASSLOCK(R) MODULEΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Go to next step.
- Reconnect all connectors and components. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, clear all DTCs. Perform reprogramming procedure. See PROGRAMMING. Perform SYSTEM CHECKΒ under SYSTEM TESTS.
