Important:Β  The radiator hoses use a spring-type clamp at the hose connections. When using this type of clamp, install the radiator hoses on dry, non-painted surfaces in order to ensure proper sealing. Reusing the spring-type clamps on aftermarket hoses is not recommended.

  1. On the 6.5L and 8.1L, install the surge tank outlet hose to the radiator outlet hose.

  2. Install the radiator outlet hose to the water pump.

  3. Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
  4. Refill the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling SystemΒ .
