- Clean intake manifold mating surfaces.
- Inspect intake manifold for damage.
- Inspect intake manifold for cracks near compression limiters.
- Inspect crankcase ventilation passages in intake manifold face for blockage and clean as necessary.
- Clean crankcase ventilation passages with compressed air. Use a maximum of 172 kPa (25 psi) of air pressure.
- Replace intake manifold as necessary.
