  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONSΒ . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEMΒ .
  2. Remove upper radiator baffle and air deflector. Remove Orange Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip from Yellow front end discriminating sensor connector and disconnect connector. Remove front end discriminating sensor bolts. See Fig 1. Remove front end discriminating sensor.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten front end discriminating sensor bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ . Activate air bag system.
