Idle Air Control Valve: Removal
Turn ignition off. Remove mounting the 2 mounting nuts from the injector sight shield (top engine cover). Lift the injector sight shield off the mounting studs by lifting at the front of the cover. Disconnect harness connector from IAC valve. On Aurora 3.5L, remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve. See EGR VALVEΒ under EMISSION SYSTEMS & SUB-SYSTEMS. On all models, remove IAC valve and "O" ring from throttle body assembly.
