  1. Remove the front differential carrier shield, if equipped. Refer to SHIELD REPLACEMENTΒ .
  2. Remove the clamp at differential housing.
  3. IMPORTANT: Make note of the routing in order to aid in reassembly.
  4. Remove the vent hose from the axle.
  5. Remove the bolt on the frame.
  6. Remove the clip on radiator support.
  7. Remove the vent hose.
