NOTE:
Because Retained Accessory Power (RAP) will time out, steps
- through 4) must be performed within 10 minutes after cycling ignition and without opening doors
- With doors closed, vehicle in Park (A/T) or parking brake applied (M/T), cycle ignition switch to RUN position, then back to OFF position. Press LOCK button on either door lock switch. Doors should lock.
- Press UNLOCK button on door lock switch. Doors should unlock.
- Press rear compartment lid release switch. Rear compartment lid should release.
- Open door. Within 35 seconds press LOCK switch on door. Doors should lock.
- Exit vehicle, close door and hatch. Press door UNLOCK button on RKE transmitter. Driver door should unlock and interior light illuminate.
- Press door UNLOCK button on RKE transmitter a second time within 5 second of first press. Passenger door should unlock. Interior lights should remain illuminated for 40 seconds from first press of UNLOCK button, or until ignition is turned to RUN position.
- Wait for interior light to go out. Press LOCK button on RKE transmitter. Doors should lock and interior light should illuminate for 2 seconds to acknowledge locking of doors.
- Press rear compartment lid release button on RKE transmitter. Rear compartment lid should release and interior light should illuminate for 40 seconds.
