- Perform diagnostic system check. See DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK. After performing diagnostic system check, go to next step.
- Using a scan tool in the instrument panel cluster "Special Function" mode, attempt to turn off ABS Indicator. If ABS Indicator turns off, go to next step. If indicator remains on, go to step 4)Β .
- Replace EBTCM.
- Diagnose instrument cluster. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
