- Current codes will remain stored and displayed as long as BCM detects fault conditions. To clear history codes on vehicles with power door locks, depress door unlock switch for 4 seconds while BCM is in diagnostic mode. After 4-second time period, chime will sound 3 times to confirm codes have cleared.
- To clear history codes on vehicles without power door locks, using a fused jumper wire connected to ground, backprobe between BCM 5-pin connector C1, terminal "D" (Orange/Black wire) for 4 seconds while BCM is in diagnostic mode. After 4-second time period, chime will sound 3 times to confirm codes have cleared.
