Body Control Module (BCM): Removal

1998 Chevrolet Camaro SS, 2D Coupe, StandardSECTION Removal

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect negative battery cable. Locate BCM under right side of instrument panel, mounted to HVAC duct. Remove lower instrument panel insulator. Unsnap BCM from HVAC duct bracket, and lower BCM. Disconnect BCM harness connector C2, then harness connector C1. Remove BCM from vehicle.
