  1. Check BCM for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) 41-45. See BODY CONTROL MODULE article. If no codes are present, program a known-good remote transmitter and test Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system. See PROGRAMMING PROCEDURESΒ  .
  2. If RKE system operates normally, original transmitter was defective. If BCM does not program using a known-good transmitter, replace BCM.
