DTC will set under the following conditions:

  • DTCs P0121, P0122 or P0123 (throttle position sensor) are not present.
  • DTCs P0502 or P0503 (output shaft speed sensor) are not present.
  • DTC P0717 (input speed sensor signal) is not present.
  • DTCs P0751 or P0753 (1-2 shift solenoid) are not present.
  • Vehicle speed is more than 25 MPH.
  • Transmission is not in Park or Neutral.
  • Throttle position is more than 15 percent.
  • Engine is running at more than 375 RPM for more than 7 seconds.
  • Engine is not in fuel cut off mode.
  • Input speed varies by 1300 RPM for more than 5 seconds.
