Default Temperatures

- If engine run time is less than one minute, PCM substitutes a transmission fluid temperature value equal to Intake Air Temperature (IAT) value, plus 5 degrees.
- If Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) is less than 185°F (85°C), PCM substitutes a transmission fluid temperature value equal to IAT value, plus 10 degrees.
- If ECT is 185-230°F (85-110°C), PCM substitutes a transmission fluid temperature value equal to ECT value, plus 10 degrees.
- If ECT is more than 230°F (110°C), PCM substitutes a transmission fluid temperature value of 284°F (140°C) and transmission shift pattern is in hot mode.
- If ECT and TFT DTCs are both set, PCM substitutes a transmission fluid temperature value of 284°F (140°C).
