Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Does Not Operate To Unlock Doors
1997 Chevrolet Chevy Van G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 6.5 FSECTION Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Does Not Operate To Unlock Doors
- Disconnect remote control door lock receiver connector. Connect test light between receiver connector, terminal "R" (Light Blue wire) and ground. Lock all doors from any power door lock switch. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Light Blue wire.
- Reprogram a known-good transmitter. See PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE . Attempt to operate keyless entry system. If new transmitter operates, replace old transmitter. If new transmitter does not operate, replace remote control door lock receiver. Reprogram replacement remote control door lock receiver to transmitter(s). See PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE .
