NOTE:
After repair or component replacement is completed, perform appropriate MEMORY SYSTEM CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING
to verify system is functioning properly.
- Perform POWER MIRROR MEMORY SYSTEM CHECK . Go to next step.
- Using mirror select switch, select right mirror. Using test light, backprobe between outside mirror switch terminals No. 8 (Orange wire) and No. 13 (Purple/White wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 7).
- Using test light, backprobe between outside mirror switch terminals No. 8 (Orange wire) and No. 14 (Red/White wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go tostep 7).
- Using test light, backprobe between outside mirror switch terminal No. 8 (Orange wire) and memory seat/mirror module Blue, 32-pin connector C1, terminal D7 (Purple/White wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 8).
- Using test light, backprobe between outside mirror switch terminal No. 8 (Orange wire) and memory seat/mirror module connector C1, terminal C4 (Red/White wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 9).
- Replace memory seat/mirror module. See MEMORY SEAT/MIRROR MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Replace outside mirror switch.
- Repair open in Purple/White wire between outside mirror switch and memory seat/mirror module connector C1.
- Repair open in Red/White wire between outside mirror switch and memory seat/mirror module connector C1.
