NOTE:
After repair or component replacement is completed, perform appropriate MEMORY SYSTEM CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTINGΒ
to verify system is functioning properly.
- Perform POWER MIRROR MEMORY SYSTEM CHECKΒ under TROUBLE SHOOTING. Go to next step.
- Disconnect left/right outside mirror connector. Connect a fused jumper wire between left outside mirror terminal "B" (White wire) or right outside mirror terminal "B" (Red/White wire) and battery voltage. Connect another fused jumper wire between left/right outside mirror terminal "A" (Light Blue wire) and ground. If left/right motor runs, go to next step. If left/right motor does not run, go to step 6).
- Disconnect memory seat/mirror module Gray, 6-pin connector C3. Using DVOM, check resistance between memory seat/mirror module harness connector C3 terminal "A" (White wire) and left outside mirror terminal "B" (White wire) or between memory seat/mirror module harness connector C3, terminal "E" (White wire) and right outside mirror terminal "B" (Red/White wire). If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance more 5 ohms, go to step 7).
- Check resistance between memory seat/mirror module harness connector C3, terminal "B" (Light Blue wire) and left outside mirror terminal "A" (Light Blue wire) or between memory seat/mirror module harness connector C3, terminal "B" (Light Blue wire) and right outside mirror terminal "A" (Light Blue wire). If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance more than 5 ohms, go to step 8).
- Replace memory seat/mirror module. See MEMORY SEAT/MIRROR MODULEΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
- Replace left outside mirror. See POWER MIRRORS article.
- Repair open in White or Red/White wire between memory seat/mirror module connector C3 and left/right outside mirror.
