NOTE:
Ensure WIPER fuse (No. 11) is okay before testing system.
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using a grounded test light, backprobe terminal E4 (Yellow wire) at connector C200 located at base of steering column. See Fig 1 . If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, repair open Yellow wire between 25-amp WIPER fuse and C200. See WIRING DIAGRAMΒ .
- Disconnect connector C200 located at base of steering column. See Fig 1 . Turn wiper switch to HI position. Connect self-powered test light between terminals E4 (Yellow wire) and E3 (Purple wire) at connector C200 (switch side). If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, repair open Yellow or Purple wire. If wires are okay, replace wiper switch.
- Disconnect wiper motor connector. Connect self-powered test light between ground and Black wire terminal of wiper motor connector. If test light is on, replace wiper motor. If test light is off, repair open Black wire between wiper motor and ground located behind left kick panel.
