This test isolates a short to battery between EBCM and Red BRAKE warning light or an open driver circuit that does not allow Red BRAKE warning light to be illuminated by EBCM. This will only occur if an ABS fault is detected that may degrade base brake performance. ABS warning light will flash to indicate malfunction, but ABS will not be disabled.
