DTC 18, Enable Relay Coil Circuit Shorted To Battery: Notes
Ignition voltage is supplied to enable relay. EBCM energizes enable relay pull-in coil by completing ground circuit. Magnetic field created will close enable relay contacts to supply battery voltage to EBCM, providing power to motors and solenoids.
This DTC checks availability of voltage and current to motors and solenoids. DTC 18 will disable ABS function and turn ABS warning light on.
