1996 Chevrolet Chevy Van G30, Van Cargo Extended, 6.5 YSECTION No Delay In Pulse Wipe Mode
  1. Disconnect wiper switch connector located under instrument panel, to left of steering column. Place wiper switch in PULSE position. Connect ohmmeter between Gray and White wire terminals on switch side of harness. See Figure . If reading is about 68 0 ohms, go to next step. If reading is considerably less than or greater than 680 ohms, replace wiper switch.
  2. Move wiper switch through delay range to maximum delay position. If resistance does not increase in steps to about 450 k/ohms, replace wiper switch. If resistance does increase in steps to about 450 k/ohms, locate and repair open in Gray or White wire between wiper switch connector and wiper motor/module connector. If wires are okay, replace wiper switch.
