Auxiliary Blower Motor Does Not Operate In Low Speed

1996 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Passenger Extended, 4.3 WSECTION Auxiliary Blower Motor Does Not Operate In Low Speed
  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect fused jumper from Yellow wire at rear blower motor connector to ground. If blower motor runs, go to next step. If blower motor does not run, replace blower resistor.
  2. Set rear blower switch to LOW speed position. Connect fused jumper from Yellow wire at rear blower switch connector to ground. If rear blower motor runs, go to next step. If rear blower motor does not run, repair open Yellow wire between rear blower motor and rear blower switch.
  3. Check continuity of Black wire between rear blower switch connector and ground. If continuity exists, replace rear blower switch. If continuity does not exist, repair open Black wire between rear blower switch and ground.
