Intermittent problem may be caused by poor connection, rubbed-through wire insulation or broken wire inside insulation. Light Test feature of Tech 1 may be used to turn on warning light while looking for intermittent problem in warning light circuit.

Enhanced Diagnostic feature of Tech 1 can be used to check frequency of problem. Any circuit suspected of causing intermittent problem should be checked thoroughly for backed-out terminals, improper mating, broken connector locks, damaged terminals and poor terminal-to-wiring connections.
