Code P064, Cruise Control Engaged/Acceleration Too High: Action
PCM disengages cruise control. If Code PO64 is present and no other cruise control faults exists, clear code and road test vehicle. If Code P075 is also present, check for sources of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) such as VSS wire running along spark plug cables or high power transmitters, like mobile radios, operating in vicinity.
