Circuit Description
An Electronically Erasable Programmable Read Only (EEPROM) is used to contain the program information and calibrations required for engine, transmission and powertrain diagnostic operation. EEPROM program can be updated by reprogramming Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

When to See a Mechanic
