Adjustment (Floor Shift)
Remove console. Place shift lever in Park. Unlock park lock cable adjuster at base of shift lever. See Fig 2. Turn lock cylinder to RUN position to energize BTSI solenoid. Compress adjuster body fully and release to ensure BTSI solenoid is fully activated. Lock park lock cable adjuster. Turn lock cylinder to OFF-LOCK position. Recheck BTSI system. If system does not operate as specified, repeat adjustment procedure.
